Reward360 - Procurement Lead - Material Management/Purchase (5-10 yrs)
Position : Procurement Lead
Experience : 5 to 8 yrs
Location : Bangalore
Role and Responsibilities :
- Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
- Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received
- Conduct market research to identify pricing trends/bid
- Negotiating prices and contracts, buying or approving the acquisition of goods and services needed by the company
- Prepare cost analyses
- Reconciliation vendor Statement with Manual.
- Stock Verification, Analysis of Vendor Performance & Price Variance.
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
- Analyzing procurement methods relative to current and future needs of the organization
- Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers
Key Skills :
- Experience in Procurement, should have strong experience in managing stakeholders and understanding of the strategic sourcing process
- Process oriented with excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication skills verbal and written, ability to communicate effectively to varied audiences
- Self-motivated, able to perform role with minimal supervision
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work in a team environment to consistently achieve results & achievement.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and Company suppliers to meet or exceed business objectives.
- Analytical Inclination, Able to analyze data and conduct independent analysis and outcome (spend analysis, good command on excel/spread sheet etc).
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years direct working experience related to the procurement team for medium to large organizations.
- Excellent logic skills, analytical skills and problem solving capabilities so as to be able to think about the downstream consequences
- Microsoft Office Access, Excel, Word, Outlook,PPT.
- ERP Oracle, SAP, Ariba etc.
