1. Conducts daily internal meeting with the production team to review the progress on targets and analyzing any production/quality related issues/concerns

2. Attends daily meeting with the plant head to present and discuss findings, targets and action plan

3. Monitors production activities on the shop floor

4. Reviews & finalizes daily production plan prepared by PPC team

5. Assigns responsibilities to the team wrt to day to day activities and guides them in case of any queries and concerns

6. Reviews process parameters and guides process improvement initiatives to increase productivity

7. Plans and communicates with Maintenance department for preventative maintenance of machinery to ensure uninterrupted production operations

8. Reviews manpower planning of contract workers for smooth operations

9. Prioritizes the production/process activities wrt to customer requirements

10. Coordinates and prioritizes tasks with outsourced vendors for finishing of produced goods

11. Coordinates and follow up with Purchase & Stores for raw material and compound availability in time as per production plan and ensures that material is in house one day before actual production schedule

12. Monitors the inventory of finished goods and scheduling of raw material

13. Monitors production plan v/s achieved production along with rejections

14. Reviews and finalizes job set up parameter report for moulds once a shift and daily production report

15. Coordinates and follows up with Tool Room for status update of under repair or need to be repaired moulds

16. Responds to RFQ queries for production related data and suggestions

17. Ensures proper documentation and implementation of TS 16949, ISO and EMS and reviews annual reports for the same
