Design Engineer :
Responsibilities :
- Develop specifications and requirements for manufacturing equipment
- Engage with suppliers of manufacturing equipment to implement designs and/or design modifications in line with specifications
- Evaluation and testing of manufacturing equipment
- Design and execute any experiments or prototypes required to test manufacturing specifications
- Take a major role in procurement, installation and setup of equipment
- Implement process improvement and quality control procedures to improve production
- Document your work and leverage google docs
Requirements :
- B.Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Purchasing experience for engineering materials
- Experienced in report writing and documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication (English mandatory)
- Team player
- Proficiency in Solidworks or Creo & knowledge of machine design
Additional Notes :
- Office hours are 10 to 6 pm Mon-Sat in the office and 9-5 pm in the plant.
- You are expected to notify the Saathi team in advance if you cannot make meetings or wish to take leave or are taking sick days. Make sure to fill out the vacation/sick day tracker and email the team if you are OOO.
