Safety Manager - Automobile Engineering (5-10 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Management of the functional safety in development projects according to the role - Functional of Safety Manager- according to ISO26262
- Methodical deriving and specifying of safety requirements and safety mechanisms
- Verification of the correct and complete implementation of these safety requirements in cooperation with of the test department
- Contribute in various customer application projects and Safety management in these projects
- Presentation of the results before the customer
- Technical consultancy and training of system and software developers concerning the aspects of the functional safety
- To report the results with the management
- Cooperation in the formal release of deliveries
- Presentation of the safety case during safety audits (internal and customer audits)
Profile :
- Bachelors degree in information technology, electrical engineering or comparable specialization
- Practical experience in the Safety engineering and safe management and/or software development and/or functional development
- Experience in preparing safety work products such as Impact analysis, safety plan, HARA, safety case report.
- Interest in formal methods and analysis techniques, in particular in the area of the functional safety; e.g: FMEA, fault trees, event trees
- Experience with the specification of requirements
- Knowledge in the current standards, in particular ISO 26262, but also e.g. IEC 61508, automotive SPICE
- Good technical understanding for the Braking products and their development
- Good communication skills and negotiation skills
- Structured, independent and independent working style
- Moderation and negotiation talent as well as penetration and communication strength
- Distinctive ability to work in a team
- Experience in dealing with customers and suppliers
- German language certification is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel.
