Safety Officer - Chemical Manufacturing (5-10 yrs)
Job Title : SAFETY OFFICER
Reports to : Works Manager
Job Description :
We are looking for a candidate with skills and experience as a Safety Officer in a chemical manufacturing company.
Location : Vapi, Gujarat
Timing : 9 am to 6 pm
Joining : Within 15 days
Salary : 6-7 lakhs per annum depending on skills and experience.
Qualifications and Skills :
- BSc/MSc/ B-TECH in Chemical / Maintenance with Industrial Safety Certification is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.
- Knowledge of ISO, OSHAS
- Ability to face Safety audits in a responsible manner.
- Candidate should have ability and experience to create SOPs as required
- Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management
- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
- Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
- Work Experience : 6 years minimum and above
