Job Title: Safety Officer

Salary: 3,500 AED per month

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices within the building and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on-site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures to enhance workplace safety.

- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and emergency response procedures.

- Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.

- Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure safety measures are integrated into project plans.

- Monitor and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure it is used correctly.

- Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and inspections.

- Stay updated on the latest HSE regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in the construction or building sector.

- NEBOSH or equivalent safety certification is highly desirable.

- Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
