Safety Officer - Electrical (2-10 yrs)
We are hiring for safety officer for Mumbai location. The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the worksite complies with health and safety regulations, creating a safe working environment for all employees, and reducing the risk of accidents and injuries.
Job Descriptions:
- Overseeing and defining program activities, allocating resources, and evaluating safety issue
- Developing policies and procedures, and creating and sharing a formal Occupational Health and Safety Policy
- Ensuring periodic inspections of electrical installations, and keeping records of those inspections
- Delivering training to ensure all staff are equipped for their roles
- Identifying and monitoring hazardous situations, and conducting hazard evaluations and risk assessments
- Investigating safety accidents and near-misses, and leading root cause analysis
- Communicating and collaborating about safety and health throughout the organization
- Enforcing safety standards and processes
- Providing support to construction projects
- Reviewing electrical design changes
