JD for Safety test Engineer

- Strong CCNA candidates with Electronics and HW backgrounds.

- Experience in Networking - CCNA or equivalent

- Knowledge of basic safety standards, IEC 60950-1 and 62368-1

- Carry out Safety tests as per various international standards such as IEC, EN, UL 60950-1, 62368-1

- Experience with the following safety tests: thermal, input current, capacitor discharge, dielectric withstand, earthing, abnormal operation, component failure, touch current, ball pressure, mold stress relief, stability tests.

- Proficiency in defining tests, setting up, and working with basic laboratory tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, dielectric withstand, touch current, traffic generators, data acquisition, calipers, thermal imaging, etc.)

Must be able to read schematics, PCB layouts and determine safety critical components.

- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

- Coordinate calibration activity for various instruments and maintain records with in-house & external labs.

- Knowledge on Uncertainty Measurements and Calculation for all the tests as a part of NABL requirement.

- Hardware configurations & accessories planning for Knowledge on IS/ISO/IEC 17025: Laboratory Quality Management.

Minimum Qualifications :

- BE/Diploma in Electronics or equivalent

- 3+ years of experience in a role of Safety test or Networking engineer

- Experience in Networking - CCNA or equivalent

- Has good understanding of test setups for various tests from 60950-1 & 62368-1 for ITE, telecom domains.

- Has good understanding on Safety aspects of product compliance and capable of debugging any issues.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent team player
