Scientist - Chemical Admixtures (3-7 yrs)
Education :
- Master's degree in applied chemistry
- At least two years of experience working in a scientific lab
- Doctoral degree in applied chemistry
- At least five years of work experience in a scientific lab dealing with product development/testing related to admixtures for concrete and and/or accelerators for sprayed concrete
- Candidates having understanding of cement chemistry and candidates having experience of relevant field will be preferred
Job Responsibilities :
- The position manages and performs the R&D of admixtures for concrete, including accelerators for sprayed concrete, at the GCCT R&D Centre in Jaipur, India.
- The role requires active engagement with R&D Director Construction Chemicals (Global R&D Head), Product Line Manager, global and local R&D experts, and the supply chain, to ensure active collaborative product innovation and encourage compliance to the global R&D approach and strategy.
- The role objective is to support Normet deliver reliable, high quality GCCT products, both in terms of product development, product manufacturing procedures including quality control testing, and technical documentation.
- Manage product development projects within the following GCCT product groups : TamCem and TamShot.
- Carry out product development and lab work including product testing, field trials and documentation.
- Ensure that lab work and testing are carried out according to standardized methods.
