Role:

- Procurement Head for the India (Own Plant and 3P)

Key Result Areas :

- Managing Payment Cycles of Suppliers.

- Formalizing contracts with all vendors.

- Cost rules & STD cost to be set/ updated for all products

- Create reliable vendors and economically optimal procurement practices

- Support new product introduction

- Evaluate and finalize new vendors

- Managing inventory levels & Maintain optimum Inventory level across Units.

- SOP procedures to be followed

- Sign off Service level agreement with vendors

- Periodic reviews with vendors on services & conduct vendor audit

Key Activities :

- Contract Review on an Ongoing Basis.

- Comparative Quote Analysis and involved in conducting commercial negotiations.

- Provide seamless supplier management and compliance support.

- Coordinating activities with supplier managers globally.

- Representing Materials organization: assess the materials related risks, develop and execute to action plans.

- Finalizing contract with complete documentation.

- Strategic Sourcing and preparing the financial/ cost analysis.

- Managing inputs of raw materials & raw materials

- Analyze market rates and make sure our rates are optimized

- Total Purchase of 500 Mn including Non inventory items.

- Periodic MIS report of all procurement activity

ERP :

- Managing the ERP:

- Custodian / Process owner for all procurement needs,

- Maintaining and administering Item Master and Vendor Master

- Maintaining Bill of Materials and Costing Across Location

- PPV and Std Cost Review

- Training Users

Functional Knowledge / Skills :

- Analytical skills, Data Planning & organizing skills, Awareness of latest trends in the market, Communication skills both verbal and written, Interpersonal skills, Negotiation skills.

- High degree of numerical ability and logical reasoning Should be well versed with international taxation, detailed procurement and accounts receivable knowledge, Complete awareness and hand-on experience with the Indian

- Taxation System which would include Direct & Indirect taxation, service tax, excise duty, Should be conversant with international contracts and its documentation, ERP knowledge.

Key Relationship :

External : Vendors, transporters, consultants, CFA- s, Industrial associations, Govt. bodies, Auditors.

Internal : auditors, Supply chain team, Factory team, Technical, Marketing, Finance, R&D

Qualification & Exp :

- B.Com / B.E + MBA (Finance) / (Operations)

- Overall experience of 10 -12 yrs, with min 3 years in Similar Profile In Specialty Chemicals//FMCG Industry/ packaging Industry

- Good in Negotiations, Assertive, Team Work, Work under Pressure, good in communication & collaborative in approach

- Strong exposure in integrated financial systems

Key Authorities :

- Finalization of rate contracts of vendors

- Commitment of Quantity and Rates

- Resolving all supply & quality issues
