Education:

- Bachelors or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering with good consistent academic records

- Relevant experience in Refinery/Petrochemical/Chemical plant Rotating machine maintenance and hands on experience in condition monitoring of Rotating equipment

Job Accountabilities:

- Implementation of CM schedule and take necessary action to achieve target CM compliance.

- Review of all vibration cases observed during previous day.

- Analysis of collected vibration data for exception cases.

- Send recommendations to reduce the vibration of equipment having abnormal vibration signature and trends.

- Analysis of critical machines by condition monitoring using offline and online tools such as System-1, ADRE.

- Carry out dynamic balancing in Workshop and in plant in-situ.

- Witness LSB and HSB at vendor works.

- Study and resolve chronic vibration cases.

- Preparing and ensuring compliance to the routine data collection of the plant rotary machines.

- Assist plant Operation and maintenance in troubleshooting critical problems.

- Perform Failure analysis and Root cause analysis (RCA) of repetitive failures

- Review and optimize CM frequencies.

- Applying the leanings from RCA to proactively increase the reliability of other assets.

- Training faculty for in-house programs related to rotary equipment/condition monitoring.

- Provide assistance during commissioning of new equipment or overhauled equipment.

- Facilitate improvement in techniques - Vibration analysis, Oil analysis, NAS, etc.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

- Thorough knowledge and experience of Spectrum analysis using various systems

- Should be able to carry out balancing of Rotary equipment in workshop and in field

- Thorough knowledge of Emerson CSI 2130/2140

- Thorough knowledge of online monitoring using System-1, ADRE

- Should be able to configure the vibration measuring points for data collection and analysis.

- Knowledge of rotating equipment maintenance techniques and types

- Knowledge of Rotary equipment repair

- Knowledge of Reliability principles (RCM/FMEA, Statistical tools)

- Knowledge of industry standards and codes (API, ASME, ISO etc.)
