Senior Architect

Job Description: The Senior Architect will play a crucial role by overseeing the design aspects of projects from concept to completion. Having command over AutoCAD, Sketch Up and V-Ray and expertise in reading and interpretation of drawings, s/he is expected to have excellent communications skills who can collaborate with consultants and liaison skills with Government authorities in getting sanctioning of plans. S/he is expected to ensure the successful execution of design plans while adhering to project-budget and timelines, compliance to the building regulations.

Work Experience Range : Minimum 3 years of experience in design and execution of commercial interior projects

Educational Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in architecture

Must Have Skills :

- Minimum 3 years of experience in design and execution of commercial interior projects

- Proficiency in AutoCAD,Sketch Up and V-Ray and expertise in proper reading and interpretation of drawings, making drawings schedules

- Strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles, materials, and finishes, coordination with consultants for design inputs, checking the same, making scrutiny, ensuring the executing is within timelines and budget

- Excellent project management skills, monitor and report different projects at a time and report the status to Seniors

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with consultants and liaison with Government authorities for sanctioning of plans is a plus

- Ability to liaison with local authorities for sanctioning of plans and coordination with consultants to get the plans executed.

- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and building regulations

Responsibilities:

- Understand the customer requirements and develop design concepts that align with the project goals and objectives till execution.

- Schedule and coordinate design review meetings to ensure alignment with design guidelines.

- Manage the approval for design documents from relevant local authorities like PMC /PCMC/ PMRDA/Town Planning Authorities

- Assist in the preparation of design proposals incorporating all changes after coordinating with customers, consultants and making necessary revisions.

- Create and maintain detailed project design schedules, tracking milestones and taking appropriate actions.

- Review design drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance with local building regulations and sustainable practices.

- Monitor and manage project budgets and costs related to design aspects, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
