Senior Broadcast Engineers are experienced professionals responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of broadcasting equipment used in the telecast of sporting events. They ensure that the equipment is in good working condition and ready for use. They also provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers.

Job responsibilities include :

- Leading cross-functional teams for end-to-end execution of broadcast projects

- Leading/delegating responsibilities during kit building, rigging, de-rigging within stipulated timelines

- Thinking out of the Box and Solving on-venue problems pertaining to equipment functioning

- Assisting Engineering Managers to ensure smooth running of daily engineering operations.

- Competent to set up, configure, operate and maintain a wide variety of electronic equipment involved in outside broadcasting production, including, but not limited to HD Video, UHD Video, Audio and Communication Equipment.

- Should have excellent knowledge of Radio Frequency Equipment and antenna systems.

- To be able to troubleshoot broadcasting equipment to a system level and able to communicate and report to the Head of Engineering and manufacturer for problem solving.

- To undertake project work from venue reconnaissance to delivering in a professional and timely manner.

- Assist in keeping equipment updated with the manufacturers latest software releases.

- To be responsible for maintaining technical equipment and systems to the required safety and technical standards with minimum disruption to operational activities.

- Lead, direct, instruct and manage a team of 10- 15 engineers/technicians.

- Draft technical reports of the field

- Reading and designing of the engineering workflow

- Prepare technical documents for the preparation of projects/Kits and amend as necessary

Education :

Graduation. A degree or diploma in broadcasting will be an advantage.

Experience

- 10-2 Years

- You should have an excellent understanding of television and associated transmission systems.

- You should have a proven track record in managing cameras, lenses, CCU- s, EVS equipment including LSM, X-File, X-Hub, IP Director.

Age Bracket : 28-35 Years
