Senior CAD Specialist - Cable Routing (5-14 yrs)
Years of Experience: Diploma with minimum 10-years or B.E/B.Tech with minimum 5-years of relevant experience
Primary Responsibilities :
- Cable routing by working with cross-functional engineers like Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, etc. using Creo/Nx Cable routing module
- Prepare and participate in design reviews
- Supports manufacturing by documenting and releasing engineering drawings & bills of materials using Engineering Change Management
- Provides resolution to design and documentation quality issues, Problem Reports / Supplier Build issues.
Mandatory Skills required for performing the job :
- Proficiency in Creo Cabling/NX Routing module to route cables and create harness drawing.
- Well versed with interpretation of mechanical drawings/specifications and electrical schematics
- Working knowledge in OEM Component selection (connectors, backshells etc.), design standards and BoM (Bill of Material) Management.
Desirable Skills :
- Experience with documentation standards and Engineering Change Management processes.
- Knowledge of PDM and PLM system like Team center and SAP PLM
- Should have good communication skills (written & verbal) and presentation skill
