What will you do?
You will be a part of the New Product Development initiative of the company. In this position your mission will be to design & develop the electrolyzer stack. This includes performing CAD modelling of the stack and working with the manufacturing, quality, process engineering and control systems team to iterate prototypes from concept to mass manufacturing quickly.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and design components and assemblies for the electrolyzer stack, to meet functional and manufacturability requirements while minimizing cost.
- Inspect designed components for compliance with specifications.
- Maintain documentation records of generated design deliverables.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and QA/QC team to design for manufacturability and develop inspection criteria.
Skills you will need:
Must have:
- More than 6 years of relevant industry experience in CAD and related workspace.
- Hands-on experience applying DFSS methodologies for robust product design and development.
- Over 4 years of experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
- Over 4 years of experience in GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Should have:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, automotive, production engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in design hand calculations
- Proficiency in utilizing CFD and FEA for design validation.
- Familiarity with PLM tools, with a preference for experience in Enovia
Nice to have:
- An unquenchable thirst for knowledge and the ability to adapt to new situations
