Senior Design Engineer - High Current Rectifier (6-8 yrs)
Job Description :
- The primary objective is to carry out Engineering design in Power electronics domain, mainly High current SCR rectifiers in the power range of typically 100kW - 20 MW size.
- High current rectifiers- Design and development of Power electronics product through various power conversion topologies. It includes, SCR / IGBT based designs for medium & high powers ( typically 20 MW range) for project-based orders.
- Preparation of transformer specifications for 6 Pulse / 12 Pulse / 18 Pulse / 24 Pulse topology.
- Simulations of rectifier topologies in PowerSim, Matlab etc.
- Prepare schematics in EPLAN, work with Mech designers for mech layout and constructions of rectifier cabinets.
- Authorized to make designs, release BOM for turnkey projects
