Senior Design Engineer - Solar Systems (7-13 yrs)
The Solar Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing solar energy systems, creating detailed designs and calculations, and managing solar projects from design to installation. The Solar Design Engineer will develop optimal solutions and stay up-to-date with the latest solar technology and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
- Experience with solar project design and development, including calculations and documentation
- Strong knowledge of solar technology, including photovoltaic (PV) panels, inverters, and other components
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, or similar design software
- Knowledge of local and international solar codes and standards
- Experience with software tools such as PVSYST and Helioscope
- Experience with project management and team leadership
