Roles and Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

- Design MV Switchgear systems, including control schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.

- Create and prepare detailed technical documents such as Single Line Diagrams (SLD), General Arrangement diagrams, and Equipment Bills of Materials (EBOM).

Technical Expertise:

- Utilize knowledge of protection relays, Protection & Control (P&C) schemes, and communication network architectures.

- Apply expertise in MV Switchgear and electrical protection systems to design effective solutions.

Specifications and Analysis:

- Analyze technical specifications to determine and apply appropriate product solutions.

- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards like IEEE, ANSI, NEC, UL, and NEMA.

Communication Systems:

- Develop and design communication systems using various wiring methods such as RS485, RS232, and IRIG-B.

Project Management:

- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet project deadlines.

- Interpret and develop detailed technical schematics and diagrams.

Tools and Software:

- Utilize Electrical CAD tools, including Electrical ACAD, E-BASE, MS VISIO, and NXTools+ for design and documentation purposes.

Design Creation:

- Produce and review detailed designs and technical documents for MV Switchgear.

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of RFQ packages.

Technical Analysis:

- Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements and technical specifications.

- Apply appropriate solutions to meet project and customer needs.

Compliance and Standards:

- Ensure designs and solutions adhere to industry standards and regulations.

- Stay informed about industry standards and best practices.

- Multitasking and Prioritization:

- Effectively manage multiple projects and tasks.

- Prioritize work to ensure timely completion of project milestones and objectives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.

- 3-7 years of experience in electrical design for MV Switchgear.

- Strong proficiency in preparing technical RFQ packages and developing complex electrical schematics.

- Deep understanding of electrical protection systems and MV Switchgear product design.

- Familiarity with communication systems and wiring requirements.

- Proficiency with Electrical CAD tools (experience with Electrical ACAD, E-BASE, MS VISIO, NXTools+ is a plus).

- Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills.
