Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer who will lead product development activities from the front. This is an IC role where the engineer will be involved in end to end hardware development, prototyping, board bring-up and compliance testing. You will work on new product development (NPD) as well as sustenance of existing product lines. You will build robust, maintainable, and testable products at Fasal.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Work independently in end to end electronics hardware development including component selection, schematic design, multilayer PCB layout, simulations, Manufacturing data pack release (BOM, Gerber, etc), board bring up and testing.

- Power supply design involving LDO, DC-DC buck and boost converters and Li-ion battery charger design.

- Mixed signal design including analog design (sensor instrumentation) and digital design involving microcontrollers communication modules like BLE, 4G Cellular, LoRa, SPI memories, and various communication protocols like UART, I2C, SPI, USB and RS485.

- You will collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and qualify products to meet specification, reliability and regulatory compliances.

Key Skills :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering branch.

- Proven working experience of 4 - 6 years in embedded hardware development in a Product based organization involved in end to end product development.

- Hands on work experience in schematic design and Must be able to design multi layer PCB's while adhering to EMI/EMC and SI/PI standards, with Strong experience with mixed signal design.

- Experience with EDA tools like Autodesk Eagle and Altium Designer.

- Experience in power supply design, DC-DC converters, Li-ion battery charger designs is required.

- Proven track record in the design of Analog Circuits, Digital circuits, and mixed-signal circuit design.

- Technical knowledge of bus standards such as I2C, SPI, UART, RS485 and USB is required.

- Knowledge of Wireless technologies like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRa, and Cellular 4G.

- Experience in preparing verification & validation plans, prototyping, functional tests, Board bring up, RCA.

- Experience in practices for Design for Test (DFT), and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).

- Experience in preparation of design documentation, Engineering. Spec, Power budget, test plan etc.

- Exposure to hardware tools (Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzer, Function generator, Power supply)

- Strong written and oral communication skills, and a teamwork attitude.

- Writing high quality technical documents.

- Nice to have: 

- Hands-on experience working with STM32 Microcontrollers and Quectel 4G Modems

- EMI/EMC, CE/FCC, compliance testing experience

- Basic software programming knowledge in C/C++

- Ability to perform hardware simulations and modeling in pSpice or LTspice
