Requirements given below:-

Accountabilities:

- Work in a Multi-Cultural Environment and lead the initiatives and tasks to achieve the results.

Manufacturing process improvements:

- Analyze the failure modes of components in manufacturing, assembly and testing and report out the top failure modes.

- Study the current manufacturing processes, tooling and systems, evaluate for adequacy with respect to the product requirements, and failure modes identify opportunities for improvements.

Process Planning and Tooling:

- Capture Part-Process matrix, Machine tool requirements, Special process requirements from component drawings and 3D models.

- Create Process Routing, Operation Sketches, Standard Operating Sheets, Handling and Packaging methods and instructions etc.

- Create Tool designs- Jigs, Fixtues, Assembly tools, apply Poke Yoke concepts, cutting tools selection etc.

- Create 3D CAD (Preferably UG-NX) models for operation stages, engineering blueprints and manage them in PLM tools such as Teamcenter.

- Collaborate/ Liaison with various functional departments and leading the tasks for achieving the targets.

- Provide Training/Demonstration to technicians and shop supervisors on new processes and improved processes.

- Carryout FMEA, RCCA, Initiate SPC, Develop control plans.

Requirements: (4-6 years Experience, Engineering Graduate or equivalent)

- Hands-on experience in Manufacturing, Assembly and/or Testing of Aerospace or Automotive components in a supervisory role.

- Knowledge in manufacturing process Documentation- Process sheets, Tooling, Quality Assurance, Work Instructions for Machining, Sheetmetal fabrication, Assembly processes.

- Familiarity with Aerospace materials and Special processes- Heat Treatment, Chemical and electrochemical processes, Coating processes, Welding and Brazing.

- Experience in various plastic and rubber molding processes and Mold design will be an added advantage.

- Knowledge in GD&T and Experience in design of tooling- Jigs, Fixtures, Gages, Test Rigs etc and Machining of Castings and Forgings

- Knowledge in CAD- NX, and PLM tool such as Teamcenter.

- Excellent Communication Skills, Fluent English written and spoken.

- Excellent Analytical skills- Problem Identification, Proposing corrective and preventive actions.

- CNC programming skill will be an added advantage.

- Familiarity to Lean/Six Sigma tools and Methods will be an added advantage:

- FMEA, Control plans, RCCA/Rapid Problem Solving, Value Stream Mapping, Poke yoke Methods

- Process capability, Gage R& R, Statistical Process Control methods.

- A self-starter, able to determine, plan and prioritize workload as necessary to achieve targets.
