Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager - Material Planning & Logistics (5-12 yrs)
Sr Engineer / Assistant Manager - Material Planning & Logistics.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- The candidate shall have following experience as bare minimum in any reputed or large size fabricator/ EPC Company.
1. Conduct route survey & feasibility study for movement of ODC to various sites across India & to access maximum dimension/weight possible to be transported.
2. Checking loading diagram/ Load per axle/ axle configuration etc. for various heavy weight cargos.
3. Familiar with loading software available in the market for axles.
4. Experience of dealing SODC/ODC right from route survey permission and delivery up to site.
5. Hands of experience of movement of cargos within India by Road connected with waterways.
6. Preferred Experience of multimode handling of SODC/ODC.
7. Knowledge of study of bridges and judgement for movement of SODCs over such bridges.
8. Knowledge of various Types of vehicles used for heavy lift their limitations, permissions, operating knowledge like turning radius etc. are preferred.
9. Knowledge of various permissions required for movement of SODC/ODC across India and Outside India are preferred.
10. Candidate shall have experience of handling enroute difficulties / problems with various authorities and agencies are desirable.
11. Candidate shall have knowledge of preparation of RFQ Techno/ commercial evaluation of offers and issuance of Work order and settlements of bills is desirable for EPC, EPCM and PMC type of Projects.
12. Knowledge of various types of Insurance risk that are obtained and handled by contractor for EPC, EPCM projects along with settlement of claims. (Quick and minimum deductibles basis). Handling of Insurance broker is desirables
Education :
- Engineering Diploma, Additional Qualifications in Shipping Logistic Management/EXIM/BE etc. Preferred
