Job Description :

- The Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for Instrument selection, calibration and work with a team of maintenance technicians for all the process & utility equipment of the plant.

- Knowledge and experience required in Instrumentation area operational, selection, installation and calibration.

- Shall execute calibration plans as per calibration calendar in coordination with all stake holders

- Develop requisite SOPs for calibration management in GMP environment

- Shall support closure of all deviations, OOC related process equipment & utility systems.

- Should be well versed with calibration practices associated with process control &equipments in formulation, filling, inspection and packaging of liquid doses.

- Experience in clean utility control system and data archiving and knowledge in PLC control system is necessary.

- Shalbe responsible for day to day calibration activities like repairs, rectifications of instruments malfunctining& replacement of instruments.

- Determine robustness and thoroughness of instruments to the design and execute the implementation.

- Support for developing and understanding of URS, FRS and DDS based on the process and compliance needs including best practices guidelines and suport validation and qulaification of the systems and equipments.

- Must be able to interface with consultants and contractors and will direct installation through external consultants and contractors.

Educational Qualification & Experience:

Graduate in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics Engineering

- 5 to 7 years of experience in applied field.

- Collaborate with site & Global HSE and ensure all safety and environmental guidelines are adhered.

- Support to maintain site specific safety goals, PASS and expectations

- Manage a team of technicians, provide an efficient and people oriented support to develop the teams and each individual.

- Maintain effective and efficient relations between all departments to optimize plant efficiency

- Review periodically & ensure timely resources as per demands of Maintenance like mechanical technicians & Instrumentation technicians

- Provide training to develop process expertise among team of Techs

Energy Conservation :

- Work with site energy &engg. team, ensure applicable guidelines.

- Support Industry Benchmarks & Best Practices that are applicable to the Maintenance.
