Senior Engineer - Mechanical (4-8 yrs)
Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
1. Analyze problems and envision Automotive products
2. Design or redesign mechanical parts using analysis and computer-aided design
3. Develop, prototype and validate new products from concept to production
4. Analyze the test results and change the design as needed
5. Oversee the testing, manufacturing and production process for the parts
Key Qualities Required :
- Have analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Analyze Test Results and Adjust Design if Needed
- Have knowledge of Standards, Tolerances, Automotive Process
- Develop and Test Prototypes
- Develop Design Calculations
- Ensure Designs Meet Legal Guidelines and Safety Requirements
- Identify Potential Design Improvements
- Have knowledgeable of Machining and Fabrication Process
- Perform Equipment and System Calculations
- Product Validation Experience
- Provide Cost Estimates for Materials, Equipment, and/or Labor
- Research Materials for Future Design Opportunities and Usage
- Have sound Knowledge of Engineering Fundamentals
- Test Building Materials
- Troubleshoot Equipment to Solve Problems
