JOB STATEMENT:

This position is for experienced simulation engineers who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a practical, real-world setting. The simulation Engineer will work with experienced design engineers to support new product developments in India factory.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled FEA Engineer to support us in the execution of FEA tasks for industrial valves development projects. As a FEA engineer, you will be responsible for the quality and on time execution of FEA tasks (meshing, modelling, simulation jo) according to the defined quality standards and with the defined tools.

- Compile analysis results into a form that can be easily interpreted and understood by other stake holders (Design, test, and product support)

- Work with R & D team for design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialised knowledge of engineering applications.

- Co-relate FEA results to calculations & lab reports

RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY:

- Report to Head of R & D - Valves

- Work closely with team and with production organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Should have university bachelor / master's degree with a technical focus, preferably mechanical engineering or equivalent. Knowledge in engineering principles, theory, and practice as well as basic product knowledge.

- An industrial working experience preferably with valves, pump, compressor or other pressure equipment of 6 to 8 years.

- Competence and experience in simulation topics, incl. structural analysis tasks (static, dynamic, thermal, durability and fatigue). Familiar with simulation tools, i. e. SolidWorks simulation, Ansys structural & Thermal.

- Additional FEA tools knowledge is an additional advantage.

- Strong communication skills, verbal & written.

- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
