Position: Engineer/Sr.Engineer - Tool Design (Automotive)

Job Description:

- Design new welding fixture and modify fixture as requirement.

- Mention the parts standard and standardising the fixture and gauge .

- Making Different welding fixture parts drawing in auto cad.

- Familiar knowledge about usage of Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD & T).

- Identification & Implementation of Various Cost reduction Projects.

- Successfully trial out the sample Responsible for all activity related to tool room & breakdowns of weld shop, press shop, bend shop.

- Expertise knowledge in design & development of press tools (dies), fixture, jigs and gauges for new products.

- Knowledge of press tool operations blanking, drawing, punching, part off, bending.

- To co-ordinate with standard room regarding calibration & maintenance of die, fixture & gauges.

- Analysis of CMM Reports for better Dimensional Accuracy of Products.

- Working Experience on any types of Tool Room Conventional Machines such as Drilling, Tapping, Reaming, Lathe, Shaping, Milling, Surface-Grinding, Cylindrical Grinding, Jig - Grinding, Cutter Grinding.

- Personal involvement while doing complicated machining like parts having intricate profiles, complex angles, critical dimensions, and complicated setting of job.

- Providing necessary guidance and knowledge about work to subordinates and Trainees. & Improve Employee Involvement

Desire Profile:

- Candidate must be have Diploma/B.E/B.Tech- Mechanical

- Exp: 3-5 years experience in tool design in auto components manufacturing companies.

- Sal: 3-5 lacs p.a
