Senior Instrumentation Engineer - Ammonia (15-27 yrs)
- Engineering Expertise: Lead detailed engineering activities in the Refinery, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers, and Oil & Gas industries, focusing on instrumentation and control systems.
- Project Phases: Provide expertise in Concept, Basic, and FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) phases, including performing Material Take-Off (MTO) for cost estimation purposes.
- Leadership Role: Act as the Instrumentation Lead Engineer, managing inter-discipline coordination, performing instrument sizing calculations, and overseeing instrumentation procurement, including data sheet preparation and technical bid analysis.
- Vendor Management: Review vendor drawings and coordinate with package vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare Instrument bulk MTOs (Material Take-Offs) and contribute to the overall instrumentation documentation process.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) database is advantageous.
- Specialized Knowledge: Possess expertise in instrumentation and control for Conventional/Blue Ammonia/Green Ammonia projects, with a solid understanding of critical equipment in Ammonia plants.
- Project Experience: Demonstrated experience in executing multiple NH3 (Ammonia) and Methanol projects, particularly in FEED and Detailed Engineering phases.
- Site Experience: Experience on NH3 or Methanol plant sites is an added advantage.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 15+ years in instrumentation engineering within relevant industries.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering.
