Senior Maintenance Manager - Installation & Commissioning (18-22 yrs)
A. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations
- Reviews job orders to determine work priorities
- Develops preventive maintenance program in conjunction with maintenance staff
- Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities
- Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards
- Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials
- Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations
- Prepares department budget and monitors expenditure of funds in budget
- Improve equipment capability and utilities availability
- Reduce repairs, maintenance & energy cost
- Conducts intra-departmental meetings on maintenance problems, resource consumption, maintenance planning etc.
- Monitors and analyzes reports on preventive maintenance; conditioning monitoring; new project development; resource consumption; expenses related to power, fuel, repair and maintenance
- Participates actively in inter departmental and cross functional meetings - resource conservation, safety, IMS, production meetings
- Responsible for all IMS initiatives of the department.
- Continuously enhances knowledge of self and maintenance team and implements innovative techniques for enhanced service and support
- Conducts trainings for maintenance team on advance technology & skill
- Reviews annual departmental KRA and other departmental indicators including subordinate performance review
- Monitors uninterrupted availability of utilities such as water, DG set, etc. for smooth and trouble-free production
- Reviews and analyzes daily breakdown reports and takes corrective actions wherever necessary
- Develops and motivates engineers, supervisors and workmen to achieve results
- Ensures high standards of safety, good housekeeping and proper environment in the work places
- Proposes new machines and equipment on required basis of functional departments
- Ensure Compliance requirements for statutory bodies like Water Board, Boiler Inspectorate etc.
