Job Description

Position Details:

To support the Solar Business Growth, need an Engineer who can support for Feasibility study, Energy assessment, Layout design, Module and tracker Invertor technology evaluation, DC engineering for the solar plant. He will also support for vendor evaluation and Value engineering to support the purchase function.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Working on value engineering to achieve the best LCOE (Levelized Cost Energy) based solution.

- Work out BOQ, PVSyst simulations and preliminary drawings.

- Interact with vendors for existing and upcoming technologies and incorporate them to achieve best LCOE.

- Coordinate with cross-functional team members (Procurement, Project, Finance, Legal etc.) as and when required to complete any task.

- Work on upcoming technologies (e.g.: 1500V System, Robotic Cleaning, Outdoor Inverter, 5 winding Transformer etc.) and bring out best LCOE based solution.

- Foresee the forward technology path of PV Module, Inverter and other major PV plant components and incorporate them into design in order to win the bids.

- Interpret international codes and standards required for Utility scale Solar PV Plants.

- Implementation of standardization of BOQ with costs.

- Feasibility study for solar parks.

- Resource evaluation and energy assessments for solar projects.

- Layout design and Plant Optimization for solar park.

- PV system design and DC engineering for solar park.

- Evaluation and Selection of Module, Invertor, Tracker and structures technologies.

- Vendor evaluation, Vendor quality control and Value engineering to optimize the cost.

- Preparing the detailed Bill of material for solar subsystems.

- Support Project development team for smooth execution of project.

- Support O&M for Solar plant performance evaluation and Performance optimization.

- Solar Plant documentation.

- To Initiate/drive Various Value Engineering projects for Cost optimizations.

Desired Experience

- Thorough knowledge of DC part of the Solar PV Plants.

- Conversant with software like PVSyst, Google Sketchup, AutoCAD.

- Familiarity with Indian and International codes and standards required for the construction of Solar PV Power Plants.

Educational Requirements:

Graduate in Engineering with minimum 8-12 year experience Solar PV system Evaluation, design & Engineering, Layout design and Optimization, Vendor development, Value engineering.

Skill Set Required:

- PVsyst Engineering design and optimization.

- Good Interpersonal skills.

- Good communication skills.

- Good Hands on experience in Pvsyst, Autodesk, STADD Pro etc.

- Conversant with Different PV technologies.

Salary: INR 25,00,000 - 30,00,000 P.A.
