Company Profile :

Our Client is a full service project delivery CONSTRUCTION company offering integrated planning, architectural, engineering and project management services for High rise / Township / Commercial, institutional, Recreational and Civil Construction .

Eligibility Criteria :

- Knowledge of FIDIC, Arbitration, Indian Contract Act is a MUST.

- Knowledge of MS Project / Excel / MS Word is must.

- Must have 7 -15 years experience of contracts administration, quantity survey for major High Rise construction projects

- B Tech / B.E. - Civil or degree in Quantity Surveying

- Must be currently working with a real estate company / contracting company in Mumbai and preferred jobs in Mumbai

- Background of working for large Real Estate / Commercial construction projects

- Strong technical knowledge of claims, EOT claims, and delay claims

- Strong skills in quantity surveying, estimation and cost control

- Strong computer working skills a history of working for main contractors in large projects

Duties & Responsibilities :

(Contracts Management / Contracts Administration )

- Managing the administration of the contract packages for Building contract as required to ensure compliance with the liable terms and conditions

- Preparation, monitor, update and control of cost to complete for each packages. Identify deviations from plan, find out reasons, appraise management in a timely manner and implement corrective actions effectively to minimize the deviation and help cost control.

- Assessment and analysis of variation claims, time claims, change in law claims, scope variations, design changes, EOT claims from the Contractor and make proposal to the management for review and approval

- Drafting of variation orders and amendment order to contract packages, discuss, negotiate and agree payment terms in such manner to maximize the cash flow

- Drafting interim particulars as required by the contract and correspondences in a professional / contractual manner

- Verification and certification of contractor's interim payment certificate, final payment and close out of contracts

- Prepare, update and monitor cash flow statements for each package, identify variations from the plan, reasons for variation and corrective measures to be adopted

- Manager contractors documents required for importation of materials & equipment required for the project

- Ensuring that contractual and commercial matters are handled efficiently by minimizing claims from the contractor

- Coordinate with all stake holders regarding completion of work status, outstanding works, compile punch lists, drafting and issue of taking over certificate as required

- Collecting data and coordinating with other Projects Departments in respect of progress updates, revised programme etc

- Arrange meetings to discuss issues, matters of disagreement, disputes with the contractor and prepare MOM. Discuss, negotiate and agree way forward to best suit the interest of the company

- Handling and management of documentation regarding project matters

- Handling contractual, legal, and commercial issues related to contract packages
