A new and exciting opportunity to be part of the leading FMCG company has arisen for an experienced Senior Manager - Delivery Operations. You will be responsible for the delivery of an optimum transport solution. Control delivery expenses and optimize customer service. Develop assigned resources by selecting, training, and providing ongoing coaching.

The successful Senior Manager - Delivery Operations candidate's responsibilities will consist of but not be limited to:

- Support Market Unit in achieve volume & profit plan by ensuring efficient delivery process

- To liaise with the warehouse team to ensure customer orders are delivered with a 99.8% OTIF accuracy, some with very short lead-times.

- Closely managing a team of drivers covering all aspects from compliance to training

- Communicate effectively with both the warehouse management team, and the Sales Order Processing team to ensure the customers expectations are fully realised at all times.

- Ensure the available fleet is appropriate and capable of satisfying the business requirements at all times, including fleet service and maintenance

- Assist the Warehouse Manager in the creation of Transport budgets, and constantly strive to reduce cost

Profile :

- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field

- 10+ years industry experience including responsibility leading and supervising other employees

- Must be considered an expert in delivery operations and have prior experience with depot operations.

- Knowledge of trucks and required maintenance is an added advantage

- Knowledge of FMCG industry or Courier Industry preferred. Experience on Courier delivery operations is required. Operations Manager of Large Courier firms are suitable for this role.

- Experience profile should necessarily be in managing delivery operations from warehouse to Customers.
