Senior Manager/Deputy General Manager - Foundry Operations (6-12 yrs)
Reporting to : Chief Operating Officer
Experience : Managed successfully non-ferrous Die casting Foundry for 5 years with HPDC, LPDC & GDC processes, Fettling, Heat Treatment, Tool Room, CNC machine Shop & Surface Treatment. Managing & leading 250 employees.
Key Responsibility : Responsible to ensure that the team continuously improves value added per person, throughput & quality to manufacture goods & deliver timely to customer's satisfaction.
Must be having good knowledge of :
- Aluminum Die casting (low pressure + gravity + high pressure)
- Melting & Fettling
- QMS for foundry ISO 9001: 2015 & Knowledge of TS 16949 added qualification
- Hands on working experience on ERP system
- Tool design & manufacturing via CAD CAM route
Key Roles :
- Leading team foundry engineers & operators for improving processes & quality
- Manpower Scheduling
- Implementing Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA) for non-conforming items / processes /defects.
- Trouble shooting of technical problem
- Continuously focus to reduce the rework and improve the production
- Scheduling production
- Co-ordination with project owner for timely trial
- Coordination with cross functional team & follow up with internal suppliers as per schedule
- Optimum utilization of resources to meet quality & delivery targets
- Conducting training and awareness program for workers
- Ensure Health & Safety of workmen.
- Maintain all ISO / TS documents & 5S in foundry
- Conducting daily and weekly review meetings.
