Conditions of Work : 

He/She will work from the Head Office of IMPRESARIO at Mumbai. A trip to all the Regional and City locations for site visit and actual measurement, Quality Checks may be required, so inter-city travel is a condition of work. Labor laws of India are applicable as relevant.

Role Overview :

Purpose : 

- To Lead interior Designers and MEP design team (Internal - External) to achieve Interior Design facility Planning of Reputed Chain on restaurant Retail F&B Restaurant 

- Brand's outlet. Coordinate, Review, Interpret, Guide and Approve on Interior Design and Technical Drawings to achieve Standard Design Direction or Innovations set for IMPRESARIO outlets across pan India. Ideation and Innovative Design suggestion task for - outlets would also be part of scope.

Communication: Internal

1.This position will interact with the In House or Outsource Architects, Project coordinator, Project Head, Regional Project Managers of each Region for upcoming new sites to stay focused on Retail F&B Outlets Expansion plans. interior design and technical drawings related coordination, review, interpretation and guidelines or explanation and Approvals.

2. Senior Design Manager will work closely with the Internal Project facility Planning Teams to ensure implementation of Facility Planning, Generation and Production of all drawings on timely manner.

3 Interactions with Heads of other support functions will be frequent.

External :

4.This position will work closely with all external agency representatives to ensure effective and efficient 5.Project and planning delivery support as per the specified guidelines and terms of contract.

Other important relationships will be maintained with key Architects, Interior designer, product manufacturers or service provider to incorporate the new technological or cost-efficient systems or work methods.

Main Duties : 

1. Ensuring the design and drawings are completed on time as per the stipulated schedules and ensure the quality of drawings is good and in line with the design guidelines & Standard List for Multiple Outlets

2. Evaluation of site for Project feasibility as per guidelines within the time limit specified. In accordance with SDR Report Template

3. Carry out initial technical project feasibility study to check on minimum Technical Infrastructure requirement for Outlets interior fit out works.

4. Respond and or Coordinate with solution and clarity for all the queries raised by the project manager during the course of execution of the project, which makes easier for the contractors to carry out the execution without any break.

5. Identify various queries and questions sought during execution of the project and improvise on the same during designing next outlet, so that number of queries can be reduced, reducing dependency on the design coordinator and architect once given the complete set of drawings.

6. Audit site during implementation and post completion once for quality of work and check whether the execution was as per drawing.

7. Submit BOQ, BOMs, Details, Dockets along with final detailed drawings.

8. Evaluating the performance of in house or out sourced architect / Interior Designers / MEP Engineer as per the drawing and give feedback and pass the bill for payment and ensuring good relationship with architect.

Additional Tasks :

1.Making initial block layout of front of the house and back of the house plan.

2.Take/Give approvals on entire final plan for new IMPRESARIO Retails F&B outlet.

3.Coordinate with consultant on MEP & HAVC, Fire safety and networking drawing and approvals

4.Plan Furniture, Equipment- s, Bar, Merchandise, Graphics layout and approvals, 3D drawings and Elevations, Technical MEP Specifications

5.Write/Generate Equipment Specifications / Furniture - Lights Etc Detailed Dockets / VM Graphics - Signage, Branding Etc

Role Specifications :

Specify whether - essential- and - desirable- requirements.

Qualifications :

- Full time Degree Architect from Class A Architectural College / design software. i.e. AutoCAD and or 3D

- Experience - 8 To 12 + years in Sr. Design Architect in field with focus on Restaurant or F&B outlets

- Experience with F&B / hotel/ Retail brands (desirable)

- Design experience in F&B or related service industry (desirable)

- Experience in dealing and getting work done with internal, external agencies, has handled team of 10 to 20 members

Skills :

- F& B Facility planning experience (desirable)

- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills in English and the ability to persuade others to consider a different point of view.

- Skill in developing and making effective presentations.

- Strong knowledge of Interior fit out works, Interior Material Mood board, MEP, HVAC, Plant and machineries, fire safety, Lighting systems, Hardware networking development/management.

- Creative and a Critical trained eye for creative review

- Adapt in high volume Projects operations (desirable)

- Adapt in High Pressure and Demanding Environment

- Multiple language skills (Good to have)

- Technical problem solver (desirable)

Technical Facility Planning Competencies :

- Can draw, Read, interpret Architectural plans/Layout, MEP Plans/Layouts/HVAC plans/Layout, Equipment Data - Specifications etc

- Develop Project Cost Estimates, Track and analyse and interpret the variance

- Can prepare Site management and milestone charts/schedules/Drawing tracking Reports
