Senior Manager/DGM - Engineering (10-18 yrs)
We are looking for Sr. Engineering Manager/DGM for one of the consumer durable company.
Job Description:
- Must have Designed multiple parts on complex systems of plastics, Sheet metal. Know how of tool design and manufacturing processes on plastics and types of plastics.
- Project management using MS-Project or other tool for multiple project handling.
- Top Down Design in CAD and basic Know how of CAE is a must. Must have used CAE in projects.
- Knowledge and application of GD&T and tolerance stack-up
- Must have proven VAVE in previous role using relevant tools.
- Basics of six-sigma and Planned experimentation using DOE.
- Target costing and Competition benchmarking methodologies.
Responsibilities :
- Leads cross-functional projects involving design, fabrication, validation, and manufacture of complex subassemblies, systems, processes, equipment or facilities.
- Conceives and plans whole projects; defines and selects new concepts and approaches to the design or development of new or improved products, processes, equipment or facilities.
- Assume project and/or departmental fiscal responsibilities.
- Determine functional procedures and policies and leads projects.
- Establish policies that have a major impact on achievement of business unit or function goals.
- Coordinates the efforts of engineering work and ensure the timely and qualified delivery of works.
- Mentor & manage staff's career development.
- Apply knowledge of business & competition to product development goals & product ideas.
- Enables the activation of plans and gets them implemented for the respective area.
