We have urgent job opening with leading pharmaceutical industry for Sr Manager EHS based at Ankleshwar .

JOB DESCRIPTION :

- To Ensure effective implementation, maintenance and periodic review of EHSMS in the dept.

- Advise and assist the factory management in the fulfillment of its obligations, statutory or otherwise concerning prevention of personal injuries and maintaining a safe working environment

- To Investigate the industrial diseases contracted by a worker employed in a factory and dangerous occurrence reportable under corresponding rules of Gujarat Factory Rule, 1963.

- Overall responsibility of environment management system in the plant including operation of ETP and zero discharge system ( RO, MEE, ATFD) and waste minimization etc.

- Ensure compliance of Legal requirement with respect to El-IS and ISRS process and execute the role of champion for compliance assurance and result and review process. Also act as a ISRS system coordinator and secretory of Joint EHS committee meeting.

- To Ensure effective coordination of occupational health center as per Factory Act.

JOB SPECIFICATION :

Qualification : BE ( Environment)/ ME/ MTech ( Env)) / MSc (Environment)/ MEM ( Masters in Env management), BE (Chemical)/Masters of Industrial Safety and hygiene with Diploma in Industrial Safety

Relevant Experience : Minimum 15 Years

Reporting to : Site Head & Vice President - Manufacturing and CEHS - Vice President
