Main Purpose:

To serve as the Industrial Hygiene (IH) subject matter expert across the region (India and SEA) by providing technical expertise on all IH related matters. Provide guidance to line management on implementing internal IH standards, industry consensus standard /guidance and for establishing sound construction safety management systems.

Key Deliverables:

- To provide technical support on development of internal IH standards or improvements for existing standards.

- To provide technical consulting support for the development of internal IH competencies throughout the organization by coordinating and conducting various training, coaching, consulting sessions.

- To improve the IH hazard recognition skills of line management through participation in line walks, audits, etc.

- To establish a uniform IH management system across the organisation

- To assist line management and field safety professionals in monitoring legal compliance to local statutory requirements.

- To assist in global networking and sharing best practices between different agencies and the organization. To improve communication and deployment of IH management systems and standards across the region.

Primary Skills : Knowledge of national and international HSE standards, Health and safety related risk assessment, industrial hygiene, chemical hazards and reactions, electricity, industrial maintenance processes and fire technology

Secondary Skills : laws and regulations relating to Health, Safety and Environment, Knowledge of health and safety, training techniques, laws, codes, and regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety

Requirements : Post Graduate - Industrial Hygiene or equivalent

Technical Competencies:

- Knowledge of safety standards and various applicable legal and other requirements on IH

Behavioural Competencies:

- Analytical, decision making skills, ability to influence management, excellent verbal and written communications, honest, energetic, speed and agility, assertive
