Senior Manager/Manager/Assistant Manager - R&D - FMCG (5-12 yrs)
Job Qualifications:
1. The candidate should be a post-graduate in Food Science or Technology/ PhD in Food Tech / Food Engg from a reputed institute.Preference for MSc. / Mtech. from CFTRI, UICT, HBTI, Marthawada Univ Parbhani, GB Pant University etc. A strong academic background is desirable
2. He/she should have hands-on experience in scale-up of processes, conducting commercial trials and optimizing processes..
3. Well versed with product development process in food industry with strong understanding of translation of marketing brief to product development that is market-oriented.. Ability to work/lead in a multidisciplinary environment is critical.
4. Proven experience in any two or more of:
- Knowledge on Frozen formed RTE Patty type products; Bread Crumbs, and coating system for such products, preferably bakeble coatings. Wheat flour and dough science
- Experience on emulsion based sauces like Mayonnaise especially low fat Mayonnaise and Preservative based, hot filled and frozen sauces / gravies / chutneys
- Experience on Retort processing of RTE meals and other food products like noodles, pasta and curries in retort pouch
5. Good communication skills; team player, open to feedback; strong culinary theory and grasp of current trends in the field. Candidate should be well networked and knowledgeable about Food Laws.
6. Desired experience : 5 - 12 years relevant experience in New Product Development, Ingredient research, scale-up, development of RM and FG specs, Stability study.
