Good fundamentals - Machine Design, Theory of machines

- Strong understanding of Vehicle Dynamics

- Good modeling and simulation experience in Multi-Body Dynamics

- Highly skilled in building models for sub-systems and full vehicle from scratch

- Strong ability to integrate with product design and provide design solutions

- Excellent ability to perform all Virtual assessments related to Vehicle Dynamics & co-relation of on-road/torture track behavior of ride and handling with the simulation results.

- Ability to perform Loads estimation at Full vehicle level - Static Loads, RLDA, Virtual RLDA.

- Extensive experience in the vehicle steering system

- Knowledge/experience in NVH domain is a PLUS.

- 3 to 10 years of work experience, CAE Software skills: MSC ADAMS Car/View (Mandatory) Motionview/Motionsolve (Optional)

- Masters in Technology in Mechanical; Masters in Technology; Masters in Technology in Mechanical Engineering or Applied mechanics from IITs

- FE tool/Software Skills

Role Details - Durability

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Required Skills -Linear Static, Modal, Non Linear, FRF, Fatigue

- Good fundamentals - Strength of materials, Machine Design, Fatigue, Applied mechanics and Finite element methods

- Able to do finite element modelling of Automobile/Tractor systems.

- Able to build finite element assemblies for structure. Should have good understanding of different types of contacts/connections like spot and seam welding.

- Able to apply loads and Boundary conditions required for linear and nonlinear Static analysis.

- Able to carry out Modal, frequency response and transient analysis for vehicle components and systems.

- Able to do Fatigue life estimation for Vehicle structure, Spot and seam welds.

- Ability to postprocess results, make reports and present results to design team.

- Able to recommend design modifications to meet acceptance criteria based on analysis results, manufacturing and packaging constraints.

- Exposure to Shaker Table/Torture Track Validation in CAE

- Understanding of CAE / Testing / Real World usage conditions and correlation.
