Senior Manager - Manufacturing Engineering (12-15 yrs)
Education : BE Mechanical, additional course in Tool design or similar is preferred.
Education : Minimum 12~15 years in engineering Industry (preferably Auto industry - Tier 1).
- Computer Knowledge - MS Office - Power point, advanced excel, word & with Auto cad, Program Management, NPD, design software like solid edge / Catia etc- (AutoCAD preferred) + SAP.
- Team handling - Minimum he should have handled Sr. Engineer or Asst Mgr. level team of 8~10 people.
- Supplier base knowledge - Fixture manufacturer, Cutting tools, general purpose machines, SPM & special processes equipment- s, material handling equipment suppliers.
- Certifications - Six sigma Green belt minimum, back belt preferred.
- Core Strength area - Machining, Process engineering - Machine selection, Cutting tools selection, Fixturing design conceptualization, CNC programming, problem solving, Purchasing of cutting tools, fixture, Capital purchase of machines & equipment + Infra development.
Hands on experience need on :
- Handling all variety of machines CNC turning, HMC, VMC, + Robot automations + Cylindrical & centreless grinding + Special process equipment like induction hardening, coating etc..
- CNC machines programming on Fanuc, Simense, Mazatrol controllers on above machines.
- Fixture design & cutting tool selection for variety of parts.
- Specially experienced in Grinding, Induction hardening, Spline broaching, serration milling, Automation.
- Should be able to finalize technical scope of all CNC machine for any product.
- Completely acquainted with Capital Purchase process.
- Very strong experience in Installation, commissioning of all variety of machines. - knowledge of supplier for the same.
- Layout preparation & execution.
- BOM & routings knowledge
- Exposure for Global coordination & Interaction
- Lean manufacturing & VSM concept.
- IATF standards
System Knowledge of :
- Productivity improvement techniques
- Problem solving tools
- Industrial Engg tools like MOST, Avix
- Cost reduction approaches
- Lean six sigma & WCM
