Senior Manager - MEP (12-20 yrs)
The Client :
Indian Subsidiary of a Company HQ in Europe into Engineering and Construction Support of Large Infrastructure projects.
The Role :
- Demonstrate and use expert know-how of the entire MEP part of construction projects in all its aspects. Should have sound known knowledge on all the aspects of MEP works.
- Administer the MEP design and execution between internal teams, clients & subcontractors.
- Provide technical input for offer requests and awarding of MEP subcontracts to the contractors and procurement departments to ensure the materials as per specifications.
- Liaison with associates / consultants MEP supervisory engineers, inspectors and relevant staff hired for providing specialized services.
- Co-ordinate for MEP (Electrical, HVAC & Plumbing & Fire Fighting) works. Review and Designing of drawings as well as validating the drawings for electrical, plumbing & firefighting works along with interpretation of services with structural & architectural drawings.
- Facilitate problem solving, as may arise, between MEP Subcontractors during construction.
- Ensure that MEP Subcontractors provides and adheres to relevant Quality documentation/records.
- Ensure the MEP Subcontractors adhere to Project safety regulations.
- Monitoring the schedule for all MEP works.
- Ensuring commissioning certificate from government authorities
The Person for the role :
- Ideal person for the role will be a UG/PG (full time) Mechanical Engineer with about 15 to 20 years of experience is handling MEP part for large infrastructure projects. Experience working in a large civil and structural engineering consultancy would be a plus.
- Good understanding of best practices in the MEP space with proven track record of delivering high standards.
- Willingness to travel across project locations to deliver the area of work.
