Senior Manager - Operations - Manufacturing (10-15 yrs)
Position (designation): Senior Manager/ Operations
Location: Kandivali
Education: BE Mechanical
Reporting to: Operations Head
Gender: Male /Female
Experience: 10-15 years
Type of Organizations: Pharma Machinery, Heavy Machinery, Manufacturing
Area of responsibility:
Direct and coordinate manufacturing operations within the laid down policies and procedures.
Achieve machine-wise manufacturing goals.
Ensure OTDIF (on-time delivery in full), FTR (first time right) and DOH (days on hand inventory) matrices are achieved.
Develop strategies to reduce manufacturing cycle times and costs
Training, multi-skilling & development of all manufacturing related employees (technicians, supervisory, managerial) within the business unit.
Confer with other department heads within the BU to ensure coordination of procurement, FAT's, commercial clearances and dispatches.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower resources
Adopt best practices from across the industry and share improvements across other SBU's
Develop strategies to reduce manufacturing cycle times & costs and reduces wastages.
Developing and updating procurement systems and policies
Ensuring compliance to the existing procurement policies
Plan for inventory levels (strategic) to be maintained and ensure targeted DOH (days on hand inventory) level is maintained.

1. Technically competent and proficient at understanding machines
2. Well versed with productivity & quality improvement concepts like TQM, TPM, Kaizen, Six Sigma etc.
