Senior Manager - Procurement (8-10 yrs)

Location - Gurugram
Job Description:
- Occupying a senior position within the Global Procurement team, Procurement are looking for an experienced professional to work closely with the Director of Procurement developing a renewals and operations team within the wider Procurement team.
- This team will ensure adherence to the procurement policy, undertake the operations of the Procurement Team and ensuring renewals are completed within contract terms and in a proactive timely manner.
- You will have a track record of establishing and delivering best-practice Procurement Operations function.
- The Senior Procurement Manager is an expert and experienced Supply Chain professional with a track record of establishing and delivering best-practice contract lifecycle management and creating effective and lasting business relationships via similar best practice understanding.
- An established People Manager with experience of building and maintaining an effective team in a Global environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing a small team of Buyers, Procurement operations and P2P analysts to ensure effective running of Procurement operations within a Global Procurement function.
- Partnering with the Strategic sourcing team on Procurement activities where required.
- Partnering with the Business, and Law and Finance Departments to ensure successful negotiations, resulting in effective agreements which have properly mitigated risk, established performance metrics.
- Hands on role requiring involvement in renewal activity and operation activities
- Identify, implement and lead cost reduction, avoidance and process improvement initiatives, bringing recommendations to Director of Procurement
- Manage quarterly Oracle Fusion, Service Now Upgrades, responsible for updating processes, implementing improvements, testing and communications.
- Third Party Risk Management for key suppliers
- Reporting on Procurement activity and third party spend analysis
- Vendor Management experience including quarterly business reviews and supplier performance metrics
Essential skills/knowledge:
- 8+ years' experience as a Procurement experience working within Procurement
- Experience running contract negotiations, strong negotiation skills for significant and complex procurement deals
- Excellent Line Management experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent understanding of P2P process using Oracle Fusion Procurement, Service Now, Atlassian Jira and Power BI and other reporting tools as per required
- Global Procurement experience especially within the UK and US market
- Ability to work cross functionally across global teams, across all levels of executive management
- Ability to handle multiple projects and complete deals within defined deadlines and short lead times, while partnering with other Team members to meet demand
- Results focused professional with the ability to lead and own, with little day-to-day supervision.
- An ability and desire to drive increased value from vendor(s)
- Strong working understanding of and experience in contract law, and negotiations in both Legal and Business terms in Legal Agreements
- Proven experience in successfully managing vendors and third parties, including, but not limited to, policies, performance, vendor risk, relationships, contracts (including negotiations), licenses, audits and issue and dispute resolution.
- Analytical, numerate and organised individual who can use data in a meaningful way to drive change, compliance, performance and value improvements.
