Job Description :

- Candidate must have knowledge about chemical batch process, knowledge of chemical process.

- He must be conversant with Change control management, Contamination prevention system, strict adherence to HSE compliance, Upkeep of plant and machinery, cost reduction and process improvement initiatives based on latest global development in unit operations and process.

- Exposure to DCS operated plants

- Heading one Multi-Purpose Multi-Product Manufacturing Plant - FINE CHEMICALS / HERBICIDES

- Production Planning, Mapping & Scheduling as per the schedule of campaign for individual products and meet the targeted production with targeted norms of both RM & Waste.

- Ensuring circuit changeover in compliance with QA & HAZOP varification.

- Trouble-shooting in the process & rectification.

- Inventory control - RM, Packaging Material, critical Engg. Items, Consumables etc according to the budgetary allocation & review the same from time to time in co-ordination with Supply Chain. Deviation Control (Budget vs Actual)

- Man power regulation & control.

- To carry out periodical & preventive process scheduling activities along with Maint. Job and also to plan for S/D activities.

- To prepare Daily & Monthly, Quarterly, Half-yearly & Annual Report (MIS) of the plant in terms of Performance evaluation.

- To maintain proper safety standard in the plant, which includes, First Aid Report, Near miss Report, LDAR, Incident Report, VOC report.

- Responsible for controlling environmental pollution effectively to corroborate GPCB norms in the plant.

- To conduct training program for the plant staff & workmen as per the schedule (TBT, Prodn Meeting etc)

- To conduct various Developmental Trial Activities in the plant based on Process Up-Gradation, MWO System to improve Capacity, Yield & Quality of the product & reduction of cost as well

- Compliance on QMS & EMS audits.

- Making & keeping 2nd line ready to avoid any vacuum in the structural hierarchy within the plant section.

- To keep track on SAP on PP, PM modules.

- BBS & TPM implementation programme.

- Role of Internal Auditor (certified by DNV for Integrated ISO-14001:2004 & OSHAS-18001:2007)
