Senior Manager - Purchase (12-15 yrs)
1. Flexibility to adapt to pressure & Sound project management and control skills.
2. Standardizing the material specification for quality with user requirement and sourcing materials through Internet, directories, known circle etc.
3. Selecting suppliers based on comparisons of rate / brand, track record of supplier for continuity of supply, timely delivery & in the cost effective manner.
4. Comparing and analyzing quotations based on rate / brand & other terms effecting landing price, getting approval, Issuing purchase orders and maintain all necessary documentations.
5. Negotiating landing price component (Inclusive of applicable taxes, freight charges, excise, discount etc. and terms.
6. Have vast experience of purchasing material for project.
7. Coordination, controlling and scheduling of Purchase activities of Project materials with suppliers and ensure timely delivery with effective follow up of to get the material as per project priorities.
8. Responsible for supplier selection, early supplier involvement.
9. Monitor supplier's performance & productivity on- going basis & take corrective action where ever required.
10. Regularly conducting meeting with user department and suppliers to survey quality of supply & other related issues.
11. Maintaining & reconciling goods receipt vs. payment as per terms & condition of Purchase order.
12. Preparing Purchase orders for Project.
13. Developing and following up with vendors for timely supply of materials to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- SAP Knowledge is must.
- Certificate in Material Management.
- 12+ years of experience needed.
- Handled 4-5 Projects
