Senior Manager - Purchase (13-15 yrs)
- Responsible for Sourcing & Procurement of Capex, Project Purchase, Plant Maintenance items, Services, Maintenance Contract, Components/equipment- s, Safety, EHS Equipments, to support manufacturing and Projects.
- Cost reduction of consumables
- Monitoring local purchases.
- Due diligence of existing vendors and development of new vendors.
- To audit suppliers periodically and rate them based on their performance.
- To meet regular suppliers and keep updated about new trends in the industry.
- To discuss with seniors and suggest rectification/modification for the smooth operation of the plant.
- To use all available sources of market trends that may have an effect on the prices of lead items and make recommendations for action to the HOD.
- To minimize packing, transport, and conveyance expenses.
- To possess knowledge of materials and service costs and maintain accurate, up-to-date cost records.
- To maintain, evaluate and expand reliable sources of supply and secondary sources as a backup to ensure continued production.
