Job Description : Quality Management Operations

- This includes quality assurance, control, testing, final inspection, and quality management system implementation in production floor.

- Maintaining the quality management system across all production areas.

- Will be responsible to get the quality related approvals.

- Maintaining the standards of quality and performing inspection according to the Quality Standards.

- Implement, monitor and improve the quality concepts to ensure smooth flow and high quality product.

- Constant quality improvements without compromising on high efficiency and productivity.

- Communicates quality issues to various suppliers/ followed by determining the root cause and control such errors in future.

- Conducting In-line inspections and final audit, would involve in setting up the various checkpoints at critical areas and educating the structure to supplier in-house QA.

Systems and Process Building

- Adopt a systems approach in resolving the existing gaps in operations and value chain, thus formulating standards and processes to be followed by field team members

- Develop a tool (metric) to measure the performance of Branches and Branch personnel through data and information analysis, thus handholding those whose performance require improvement.

- Define lead times and response times for resolving various problems and undertaking various processes. Institute compliance mechanism to put these into practice as non-negotiables.

- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to bring about standardization, system and process orientation in Production and Operations. Organize Training and Development Programme to spread awareness about these in consultation with CHRO and Training Lead.

- Develop Feedback Mechanisms and Problem Escalation Mechanisms so that weaver and frontline are able to post their messages, requirements and grievances and is able to take due action on those in a time bound manner

Work Experience

- Around 8+ Years of work experience in leading Productions and Operations.

- Should have sound knowledge of different fabrics, different washes and dyeing.

- Should have an expertise and knowledge of Quality Parameters.

- Should have very sound background of carpet/textile industry with a proven track record in developing technical standards, solving quality issues and getting better quality.
