Role : Senior Manager - Quality - Wind Power Blade Manufacturing

Process Quality :

- Establish appropriate controls in the process of blade manufacturing to ensure that process is effective and stable to produce rotor blades meet all the quality requirements (CTQ and process KPIs)

- Co-ordinate and work with other departments to drive process improvements toward best quality rotor blades, safe environment and better productivity.

Product Quality :

- Assure and control of quality rotor blades in accordance with the latest working instruction and the Quality Acceptance standards of customers.

- Planning and providing appropriate training for everyone Quality team to ensure safety and quality are the first priority all the time.

QMS :

- Maintenance and improvement of ISO 9001 Quality System towards continual improvement.

- The Head - QA is the management representative within the field of quality management System.

- Analyze the process performance through internal audits improve the performance of all the processes internally

Customer Inspection :

- Ensure blades are inspected, approved as per the relevant acceptance criteria and customer requirement.

- Ensure customer inspection is well coordinated and improve the product based on customer inputs.

- Keep customer interaction always effective to address the issues highlighted by customers thereby to improve customer satisfaction.

PE :

- Engineering change initiation for Process improvements & effective implementation of engineering changes.

- Technical coordination with all the departments to meet customer requirement on rotor blades and safe transportation of blades to customer.

- Effective technology transfer and mould change-overs to ensure the productivity target is met all the time.

- Maintain mould and other engineering equipment to ensure compliance is met all the time.

- Drive continuous improvement in co-ordination with CI and other functions

Education :

- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering or similar

External Experience : 10 to 15 years of experience in Quality dept. of Continuous Process Manufacturing Industry of Medium to Large scale

Certifications : Lead auditor /Internal Audit - QMS and EHS

Internal training/qualifications :

- Six sigma and lean techniques

Knowledge and Skills : GMP practices / tops 8 D process / Kaizen / PDCA / latest manufacturing practices / FMEA / six Sigma
