What you will do:
In this position your mission will be to manufacture the electrolyser stack, starting from the prototyping stage to production. You will work with multiple teams and vendors to quickly manufacture prototypes with high quality. You will also support manufacturing issue resolution by directly interfacing with the manufacturing vendor/ personnel. You will work in a cross-functional team to solve complex manufacturing challenges.
Your responsibilities:
- Be a subject matter expert for manufacturing of large parts and assemblies.
- Oversee the rapid prototyping of parts and assemblies for the electrolyzer stack, BOP, etc to meet functional requirements while minimizing cost.
- Oversee supplier quality for compliance with specifications.
- Develop vendor base for rapid prototyping and later for production.
- Collaborate with cross functional team to assess design for manufacturability and develop inspection criteria.
- Control of engineering standards for machining and other rapid prototyping techniques.
- Experience in Tooling, Gauging, and SPM.
Skills you will need:
Must have:
- More than 6 years of relevant industry experience in new product development and rapid prototyping.
- Hands-on experience in applying DFA and DFM methodologies for robust product design and development.
- Min 4 years of experience in large component and assemblies manufacturing and testing.
- Proficiency in should cost analysis.
- Sound knowledge of GD&T and selection of manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of inspection methodology and techniques
Should have:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical / production engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD and PLM tools.
