Senior Operation Manager - Green Field Projects - Electronic Industry (10-15 yrs)
Education & Soft Skills
- BE/MBA (Mechanical/ Electronics)
- Must be familiar with Japanese (both write and speak, Level 2)
- Total Experience 10-15 years (at least 3 -4 years at managerial level) including min. 3 years of experience in a Japanese MNC
- Core Operations and green field project experience
- Can lead and manage a team of 50+ staff
Job Responsibilities :
- He should be experienced in plant activities like Production/Quality in Electronic Industry.
- Experience and exposure in automotive Electronics, should have lean manufacturing know how,
- Manage overall operations with a view to ensure timely accomplishment of production targets within the time and cost parameters.
- Overseeing overall OEE implementing effective techniques to bring efficiency in operations, improve quality standards & achieve maximum cost savings.
- Selecting appropriate technologies for development approach as well as implementing policies for the organization entailing restriction on resources.
- Problem analysis & taking corrective preventive action against any non-conformity during production.
- Preparation of annual budget & controlling of operational cost.
- Objective setting & regular KPI monitoring for operation team.
- Effectively utilize limited resources in the production of goods so as to satisfy customer demands.
- Review & guide for a long-term production plan that establishes a rough product mix, anticipates bottlenecks, and is consistent with capacity and workforce plans.
- Must know Master Planning Scheduling
- Who can focus on First Time Good, can reduce cycle time by eliminating Non Value Added Activities (NVAA)
- Control flow of work through plant and coordinate with other activities (e.g., quality control, preventive maintenance, etc.)
- Problem analysis & taking corrective preventive action against any failures in Plan
