Senior Operations Manager- Hyperlocal Delivery Business (8-10 yrs)

As a Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company's day-to-day operations, including logistics, supply chain, and fulfillment. You will also be responsible for managing the company's Last Mile Operations, which includes the final delivery of goods to customers.
What you will do:
- Developing and implementing operational strategies and plans to improve efficiency and productivity
- Managing and overseeing all logistics, supply chain and fulfillment operations
- Supervising and leading a team of managers and operational staff
- Analyzing and optimizing last mile delivery routes and processes
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operational processes and customer satisfaction
- Monitoring and reporting on operational performance, including key metrics
- Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and partners
- Continuously improving and streamlining processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality service to customers
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Developing and managing the budget for the operations department
- Fostering a positive and productive work environment for the team
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
- 8-10+ years of experience in Last Mile Operations or related field
- Experience in handling the operations of 2-3 regions at a time
- Proven track record of managing and leading teams and improving operational performance
- Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain, warehousing and fulfillment operations
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Good knowledge of Industry Software and applications
- Experience in budgeting and financial management
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards
