Senior Power Electronics Engineer - Battery Management System (5-10 yrs)
- Responsible for design of power-electronics circuits and components associated with power converters, inverters, motor drives, Motor control circuits (Vector based and non Vector based ), power storage devices, Battery Management systems ( Active & Passive BMS), Protection Circuits mostly for Electric Mobility applications
- Job requires design of power converters (AC/DC, DC/AC. DC/DC) using MOSFETs and IGBTs; silicon and silicon carbide devise; harmonic and EMI filters, high frequency transformers, high frequency capacitor banks, and selection of protection components.
- Job requires design of BMS, Power storage systems, special Chargers and Dischargers for Batteries of Different chemistry such as Lithium, Metal Hydride, Lead Acid and so on
- Job involves design and simulation of power electronics circuits using Industry Standard simulation packages.
Needed Experience :
- Hands-on product development environment
- Performing and/or oversee laboratory testing
- Design experience & Knowledge of conceptualizing, designing, documenting, procuring the components, and supporting manufacturing and testing.
- Knowledge of closed-loop control system Design
- Work with cross-functional team members from product concept through production.
Required Skills :
- Position requires an individual who is self-motivated, self-managed, team oriented, proactive, task oriented, and hands-on, able to overcome obstacles to meet schedule requirements.
- Desired to have experience with power converters, motor drives, VSDs, inverters and qualification testing is a plus.
- Candidate should be able to handle multiple projects, possess excellent Communication and interpersonal skills,
- Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
